Fused glass
Fusing together layers of coloured glass creates very exciting results, similar to the effect you get when you glue layers of coloured tissue paper together. I can achieve different textures - varying from smooth finish with sublte blends of overlapping colours to highly textured work where the definition of the different layers of glass can still be seen. I can also create subtle embossed effects and sandblasting.
Each piece is created individually. Commissions include, windows, window hangings, lamps and mirrors.
Commissions are welcome, my background in graphic design means that I am able to visualise the design and provide estimated costs before the fusing starts.
